Starbucks $1 Cup of Joe
Would a $1 brew from Starbucks get you in the door? "The Seattle coffee giant is responding to increased competition as it braces for an economic slowdown that could blunt consumer spending." I have always been a fan of Starbucks medium roast and rarely order a specialty drink anyway, so this cut in price would definitely pull me away from the coffee shop that currently frequent for a cup of Joe……..Your thoughts welcome. The 8-ounce short size isn't on Starbucks' menu but has long been ordered by in-the-know patrons including myself. Typically, a short brewed coffee would sell for about $1.50. Starbucks is testing the offer of free refills for traditional brewed coffee along with the $1 cup of coffee in the Seattle area at this time.
